Our Shipping Policy
We endevour to ship every weekday, although sometimes family commitments need to come first. As a minimum, we will ship at least twice a week. All orders are shipped via Australia Post eparcel, which is fully trackable and requires a signature upon delivery. If no one is at the delivery address to receive the parcel, it will be taken to your local PO and an attempted delivery card will be left for you to collect it. Should you require your parcel to be left if the premises are unattended, please state this in the comments section at checkout. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for lost or missing parcels where you have asked us to authorise the parcel to be left unattended.
Unless otherwise stated (i.e clearance sale orders) all parcels weighing less than 500g are sent Express Post (1-2 days delivery). Parcels over 500g are sent via either Regular Post (2-5 days delivery) or Express Post at our discretion - the shipping method depends on a variety of factors and our actual cost. If you specifically require Express Post, please note this in the comments section at checkout. Very large parcels may attract an extra charge - we will contact you to discuss this.
International shipping is also available, with flat rate for Registered Post as follows:
New Zealand/Asia: $20 ($22.00 with GST deducted at checkout)
Rest of World: $25 ($27.50 with GST deducted at checkout)
Pick-up from us, or same day delivery in Brisbane (at a charge of $15) are both possible via prior arrangement only, please email us or phone 0439 780 704 prior to placing your order to arrange this.
Our Return Policy
Our return policy is simple. If you're not happy, we're not happy. We have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Unless specifically stated, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase it may be returned within 7 days for a complete refund to the same credit card it was purchased on, less the shipping costs, or for a store credit or exchange. After 7 and up to 14 days, we will gladly issue a store credit or exchange. We do not accept returns after 14 days from the delivery date. In the event of an exchange, the customer inccurs the cost of returning the original item, and About A Boy offers complimentary shipping on the return item (for the first exchange only). Please note that goods purchased on layby that were held by us for a period of more than 4 weeks can only be returned for exchange/credit - no refunds will be issued).
Please note that returned items purchased with a free shipping offer or promotion will have the standard cost of shipping subtracted from the refund. Please allow up to three business days to see your credit on your statement.
Just follow these easy steps for returning or exchanging your merchandise:
Contact our Customer Service Department at via email. We will issue you a return number (RMA Number). Items must be received back at our warehouse within 10 days of receiving your RMA number. Repack the merchandise in the original packaging, if possible, with all tags in place. Items must also come from a non-smoking environment. Please include a brief note with the RMA number & explaining the return/exchange and ship the item(s) to the following address:

Please note that Sale items are final. We cannot accept returns on merchandise that was purchased on sale.
